Short version: a gift is private to the people you send the link to. We don't have accounts, ads or trackers, and we never sell anything about you.
When you make a game you add their name and yours, the occasion, who they are to you, three favorite things, inside jokes, three moments, a letter, photos (their face, and if you choose, your face and a photo of you two) and, if you add one, a voice message from you. All of that is the gift.
If you tap Ideas, "Fill in the game for me", "Write a draft for me" or one of the "Make it..." buttons, what you've typed for that gift (including anything in "Tell us about them") is sent to an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway only to write suggestions. That's Anthropic's Claude, or OpenAI's GPT when Claude isn't available. We don't store that text, and we don't use it to train anything. If you never tap those buttons, nothing is sent.
If you report a gift or send us a message from the Help page, we keep what you write and any contact info you choose to add, so we can look into it and reply.
Vercel hosts the site and stores gifts and voice messages. Stripe handles payments. Like any web host, it keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security and reliability. Fonts load from Google Fonts. The idea helper uses AI models from Anthropic and OpenAI through Vercel AI Gateway.
Send us the gift link from the Help page and we'll delete it, with its photos and voice message, usually within a few days.
You need to be 13 or older to make a gift. Parents are welcome to make games for their kids.
If this changes in a way that matters, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
